Timothy Sheehy serves as Sage’s Executive Vice President of Capital Markets, leading capital formation efforts and investor relations. His charter centers on defining and executing sustainable growth initiatives that benefit the company, Sage’s stakeholders and importantly, the community at large.

 

The role involves a singular focus on capital strategy and execution…leading and overseeing the firm’s debt and equity capital raising initiatives to support acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations. He acts as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, lenders, and joint venture partners and oversees investment management functions, ensuring that the portfolio’s capital structure is optimized for risk-adjusted returns.

On the transaction front, he leads the negotiation and closing of complex financial structures and collaborates with Sage’s acquisitions and development teams to ensure seamless execution while optimizing investor returns. The role also involves market analysis…providing high-level insights into the macroeconomic environment, interest rate forecasts and capital flow to guide the firm’s long-term investment strategy.

His background in commercial real estate spans more than 25 years with extensive experience in large-scale business park development, joint ventures and investment marketing in Canada as well as leadership roles in multiple residential, commercial and multifamily projects, coast-to-coast in the U.S..

Beyond his professional achievements, Timothy is deeply committed to the community, having founded the Midlands Venture Forum as well as serving on the Community Advisory Board of the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
